Appointment & Booking System API
Case StudyI built a multi-role booking platform that allows customers to book services, providers to manage availability, and admins to oversee platform operations. The challenge was to balance secure workflows, business logic, and double-booking prevention without sacrificing usability.
- Problem: Appointment systems needed reliable scheduling, role-based access, and protection against duplicate bookings.
- My role: I designed the backend architecture, auth flow, booking rules, validation layers, and email-driven verification processes.
- Stack: Node.js, Express 5, PostgreSQL, pg-promise, Joi, JWT, Nodemailer.
- Outcome: Delivered a secure, production-style API with provider availability logic, booking lifecycle actions, and protected admin workflows.
Fortini Care Guard LMS API
Case StudyI helped shape a backend for a cyber-awareness learning platform for care-sector workers. The goal was to support onboarding, secure admin operations, modular content delivery, quiz flows, and media management in a structured API.
- Problem: The platform needed a reliable LMS backend with role-based access, content publishing, quizzes, and file handling.
- My role: I contributed to the backend structure for authentication, modules, quizzes, resources, certificates, dashboards, and profile management.
- Stack: Node.js, Express, PostgreSQL, JWT, Joi, Cloudinary, multer, Nodemailer.
- Outcome: Built a modular API foundation that supports learning delivery, assessment, and secure admin workflows.

In ProgressBuilding an Express.js backend to handle core restaurant operations orders, table management, reservations, and inventory with APIs designed for real-time service workflows.
- Scope: Express.js backend for orders, tables, inventory, menu items, and reservations.
- Database: Models for menu items, orders, tables, reservations, and stock/inventory tracking.
- APIs: Place orders, reserve tables, update inventory, and browse the menu.
- Logic: Order processing, table availability checks, and automatic inventory updates on order completion.
- Planned: Daily sales reporting, low-stock alerts, and an admin access panel.
